After relocating internationally, this client entrusted us with a full-home redesign that would celebrate a new chapter while honoring their distinct design point of view. They envisioned a home that felt deeply rooted in its setting—drawing from regional materials, textures, and architectural language to create a space that was both locally grounded and personally meaningful. The goal was to craft interiors that felt warm, timeless, and inviting—seamlessly blending their contemporary aesthetic with the traditional character of the home’s architecture.

Located in the lower level, the bar and entertainment lounge was designed as a moody yet refined retreat—perfect for both intimate gatherings and larger hosting occasions. The client envisioned an elevated yet approachable space to pour a cocktail, relax with friends, and unwind in style.

The custom island is clad in dimensional indigo tile and topped with a waterfall-style slab of honed black marble—bringing bold materiality and sculptural impact. Above, statement brass-and-black pendants lend contrast and warmth. Behind the bar, softly grained oak cabinetry is paired with warm white countertops, while fluted walnut paneling provides a rhythmic, architectural backdrop. Backlit shelving and a mirrored backsplash offer a subtle nod to vintage glamour, enhancing both function and mood.

The powder room became a study in balance—where clean-lined modernity meets artisanal texture. A floating marble vanity with soft gold veining anchors the space, flanked by fluted brass pendant lights that cast an ambient, spa-like glow. A chevron-patterned stone backsplash adds movement and tactile interest, while walnut wood tones ground the room in organic warmth.
